Wissam Abi Khalil is the Principal Architect and Founder of WAK Architects, an innovative architecture and design practice established in Dubai in 2007 and later relocated to Beirut, Lebanon, strengthening the studio’s engagement with the region’s evolving architectural landscape.

Driven by a passion for shaping meaningful spaces, Wissam’s work spans architecture, interior design, and landscape, guided by a clear balance between creativity, functionality, and thoughtful expression. Under his leadership, WAK Architects has earned recognition among the top architectural practices in the MENA region, delivering projects that seamlessly blend contemporary vision with cultural and contextual sensitivity.

He received his architectural education at the Institut National des Beaux Arts (INBA II). Alongside professional practice, Wissam is also a university lecturer at The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), contributing to architectural education by mentoring and inspiring the next generation of designers.
